colored pencil on strathmore drawing paper.
i ran into some problems with her hat. it was a difficult effect i was going for and it didn't come out so well. i'm pretty happy with the skin tones(except for her forehead)
and her sunglasses though so i thought i'd post it to pad my gallery a little.
comments and critiques are always great.

maybe some. i'm certainly not an expert...
try really limiting your skin tone pallete. down to 3 or 4 colors. a problem i had was using way too many colors and ending up with mud. i also use very sharp pencils and blend with tissue paper.

haha np

yeah in english it might connote something nasty :P
but in our language (Filipino)
it is a tie-up of two words
Bigay - "To give"
sining - "art"

and coincidentally my last name is Bigay
pronounced as "bee -guy "
hehe

lol. in english it sounds a lot like: big gay(large homosexual) sinning(immoral acts). idk, probably most people don't see it like that, i just thought you did it on purpose.

I know ^^
some people even think of bi (homosexual) + gay (also homo)

didn't thought that would be the case when I wrote it for my account name :P
..after 4 yrs i'm still thinking wether to create a new one or keep steadfast to
this personal space no matter what others think ^^

screw changing it. i just thought it was some kind of statement about intolerance. don't change it if you like it.

thank you. i use very light, large and small circles that i smudge together with tissue paper. it's the best way i've found to blend colored pencils. thanks for looking!
